Melissa Higham has significant legal expertise in business sales
and acquisitions, financing and securities, and negotiating
commercial contracts. Melissa advises clients on all aspects of
commercial law. Melissa also has expertise in employment
issues arising from mergers and acquisitions and other inter-party
commercial arrangements. She has an eye for detail and is
well known for her technical expertise.
Before joining Martelli McKegg in 2003, Melissa worked in the
United Kingdom. She was initially an in-house lawyer for a public
company in the United Kingdom and then worked as a commercial
solicitor for a law firm. Melissa's early New Zealand experience
was as a commercial litigation solicitor.
