Peter Langlois specialises in property and commercial
litigation. He advises and represents a broad range of private and
commercial clients.
Peter has experience in all types of property disputes - to do
with defects, ownership (boundaries, easements and mortgages) and
nuisance claims. He also assists with commercial and contractual
disputes, including building disputes. He has taken part in many
different types of dispute resolution procedures, including court
hearings, arbitrations and mediations.
When advising clients, Peter takes a practical and pragmatic
approach. He recognises that the issues involved are critical for
his clients and he focuses on finding an appropriate solution.
Peter moved to New Zealand from England in 2010 and joined
Martelli McKegg in November 2011. He was admitted to the Bar of
England and Wales in 1991, and presented cases in the English
County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal.
