The District Court Rules have changed. The new Rules, which came
into force today, make it easier and simpler for claimants to
obtain judgment, especially when the defendant has no realistic
chance of defending the claim.
The changes broadly bring the District Court procedure into line
with the High Court. The process will be more formal but overall
should be quicker for the parties involved.
