After gaining his degree in 2019, Ben joined Martelli McKegg's
trusts team, working closely with senior team members and advising
on trusts, relationship property, estate planning and property
conveyancing. His work has increasingly crossed into the commercial
area advising on business structures and he became a member of
commercial team in June 2024.
Detail-oriented and thoughtful, he brings the same level of
knowledge and care to every project.
A keen learner, Ben always looks for ways to develop his
knowledge further. He completed his New Zealand STEP Diploma while
working full-time with top marks. STEP is a global
professional body for trust and estate practitioners. Ben has been
recognised by STEP as a 'TEP' owing to his skills and specialist
level involvement with inheritance and succession planning.

Ben joined the firm in May 2019 after graduating from the
University of Auckland, where he also completed a Bachelor of
Music.
Ben was admitted in November 2019.
