Claire Barron

Claire is a solicitor in our commercial team and advises corporate and private clients on various commercial matters. Her practice includes:

• financing arrangements
• mergers, acquisitions and sales
• business structuring and governance
• commercial contracts
• intellectual property

Claire graduated from Otago University in 2009 with degrees in Law and French. She completed her last year of study at Nanterre University in Paris and spent a further two years working in Paris in an international recruitment firm. She is fluent in French.

Claire was admitted to the bar in New Zealand in November 2011. Before joining the firm in 2013 she worked as a commercial and legal adviser for an international infrastructure company in its telecommunications team.
