Phil started as a lawyer in 1977 and has been involved in
commercial leasing ever since.
He acts for a number of large organisations on their
acquisition, development and operation of large retail shopping
centres.
His key strengths are his ability to negotiate effectively with
major tenants and bringing a pragmatic and commercial focus to
complex leasing transactions and multifaceted design build
arrangements. His approach is very relaxed and friendly,
and he doesn't stand on ceremony.
Phil has built up a substantial knowledge of the workings of a
number of major New Zealand and Australian entities over the years
and because he has been part of their team for many years they have
the added benefit of his institutional knowledge despite turnover
in personnel.
