Pierce Bedogni is an associate in our litigation team. He advises on building and construction issues, insolvency and in matters across civil litigation. Pierce works closely with Geoff Hardy and Tony Johnson.

Construction Law

In construction matters, Pierce advises on disputes arising under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 and the Building Act 2004. He has successfully undertaken and defended adjudications for builders and homeowners regarding debts due under the Construction Contracts Act. He also advises builders as well as homeowners in respect of disputes arising from construction contracts. Pierce also represents builders in respect of professional disciplinary matters.

Civil and Commercial Litigation

Pierce advises on general civil and commercial litigation matters, including insolvency, and contract disputes. Pierce specialises in debt recovery matters. He has experience dealing with disputes in the District and High Courts and routinely appears for clients in the bankruptcy and liquidation lists.


Pierce joined Martelli McKegg in 2016 as a law clerk. He graduated with Bachelor of Laws with Honours from AUT University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland.
