With over seven years' experience in the trustee industry, Rika
has extensive knowledge of this area. Her experience includes:
- document preparation
- managing and administering trusts
- assisting clients with general succession planning
Background
Originally from South Africa, Rika graduated from the University
of Pretoria with a Bachelor of Laws in 2001. She worked in private
legal practice in South Africa, providing legal advice on property
and estate matters until she relocated to New Zealand in 2007.
More recently, Rika worked as a Legal Standards Officer with the
New Zealand Law Society where she dealt with complaints and issues
relating to trusts, estates, property and solicitors' trust
accounts.
Rika qualified as a solicitor in New Zealand in
2011.
