Terri is a solicitor in our litigation team. She advises
on a wide range of civil litigation matters, including trust and
estate litigation. Terri advises on family matters where she works
closely with Dharsh Nanayakkara.
She also advises on disputes arising under the Construction
Contracts Act 2002 and the Building Act 2004, with Geoff Hardy.
She has represented builders and homeowners in adjudications under
the Construction Contracts Act.
Terri also specialises in debt recovery matters. She has
experience dealing with disputes in the District and High Courts
and routinely appears for clients in the bankruptcy and liquidation
lists.
In 2018 Terri was part of a team who won the Auckland final of
the New Zealand Law Foundation National Young Lawyers' Mooting
Competition.
She completed her Bachelor of First Class Honours in Arts and a
Bachelor of Law from the University of Auckland in 2017, formally
graduating in 2018. She spent her final semester on exchange in
Norway and can speak basic Norwegian.
Terri initially joined Martelli McKegg in November 2014 working
in our private client and family law teams.
