We seek an experienced legal secretary to support our property
team. This is a pivotal role supporting a partner and several legal
execs.
This is a great opportunity for a secretary wanting exposure to a
wide range of interesting work. You'll need to be good with people,
have a sense of humour, be flexible and have an eye for
detail.
This is a fulltime position working 8.30am-5pm. We offer on the job
training in our systems however an advanced knowledge of Microsoft
products would be beneficial; Word, Excel and Outlook in
particular. Duties include:
Opening new files and preparing letters of engagement
Ensuring AML legislation is complied with
Drafting correspondence, documents and settlement statements
Working with our precedents and workflows
Managing schedule and diary
Working with Landonline
Management of new and current clients
Liaising with clients and Councils
Monthly billing
Transcription, copy typing
Reconciling accounts
Applying for IRD numbers for Trust purchases as and when
required
