Martelli McKegg recently participated in a two week
exchange programme organised by Meritas. The exchange programme is
designed to provide lawyers the opportunity to work in a different
country and firm and also builds on the connections in the Meritas
network.
This saw Jaspreet Kaur from Madgwicks in Melbourne join Matelli
McKegg and Kiren Narayan from Martelli McKegg join the team at DMAW
in Adelaide.
Jaspreet was based in our commercial team for her two week stint
where she quickly became a welcome addition, joining lunch outings
and participating in various team activities.
Jaspreet also had the chance to visit the Auckland courts,
explore iconic places like Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves and even
managed to squeeze in a trip to the North Shore beaches with her
new neighbour and colleague Saleha Hamid-Drew.
This exchange was the second time Martelli McKegg have
participated in the exchange and it proved to again be a great
learning experience for both firms. We're looking forward to more
collaborations in the future.
